DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On June 11, 2026 (Legistar Item 26-0945), the Parks and Recreation Commission (PRC) discussed the preparation of the 2026 annual report presentation to the Board of Supervisors and assigned the Chair and Vice Chair as the commissioners to prepare the annual report.
All committees and commissions are required to make an annual report regarding its activities and a presentation to the Board. It is the board, committee, or commission’s responsibility to prepare its report and the content must be approved by the board, committee, or commission prior to submittal to staff, the Clerk of the Board, and the Board.
The report must include the following:
• Cover Sheet
• Purpose/Objective
• Membership
• What We Do: Achievements from the prior year.
• Challenges
• Review of Governing Documents
• Upcoming Goals/Workplan
• Staff Recommendations
