DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The El Dorado Hills Fire Department requested $1,000 to be applied towards the purchase of new decorations for the large redwood tree on the West side of the Ramona (Moni) Gilmore Senior Center, which the Fire Department decorates during the holiday season. The Board of Supervisors approved the request for $1,000 on October 30, 2018.
A funding agreement is required in order for the County to process the payment to the El Dorado Hills Fire Department. Approval of the funding agreement also provides the finding that a public benefit is derived from supporting this supporting this endeavor, which serves to spread joy to seniors and the community.

It is recommended that the Board approve this item.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The Board of Supervisors allocated $50,000 for FY 2018-19 to be available for community funding allocations. Approval of this item would allocate $1,000 from this amount. There in no additional impact to the General Fund due to the approval of the agreement.
