DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Parks Division submitted and received a grant from the Department of Housing and Community Development Administration and Management Division to place a restroom facility at the EDC Historical Rail Road Park, located on Oriental Street in the township of El Dorado, California. Before construction of facility at this location, the County contracted with Foothill Associates to analyze the mitigation requirements for CEQA and finalize a concept plan for the park. A initial public meeting was conducted by Foothill Associates in the summer of 2015 to identify the public's suggestions for what facilities should be included in the park design.
The design has been prepared with input from the public the Museum and the Parks Division.
