Health Services Department, Mental Health Division, recommending the Board authorize the Chair to sign Amendment I to Agreement 048-S1110 with JDT Consultants, Inc., extending the term for one additional year to June 30, 2012 and increasing compensation by $71,500 for a new total of $130,000, noting this Amendment I to that Agreement ensures ongoing Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) for seriously emotionally disturbed minors on an as requested basis for said Department.
FUNDING: Medi-Cal/Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) funding, and/or Mental Health Realignment, based upon eligibility of each youth for specific services provided.

Change To Net County Cost $0
Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: This Amendment increases the Agreement by $71,500 for a total amount of $130,000. The Mental Health Division (MHD) is responsible for paying the Contractor the total amount due for specialty mental health services and subsequently billing the State for Medi-Cal/EPSDT reimbursement. There is no Net County Cost associated with this Agreement.
Compensation for Services: Payments are made to Contractor based upon monthly invoicing at specified billing rates, as detailed on Page 3 of the original Agreement, for actual services performed per contract requirements.
Contract Termination: This Agreement includes the County’s standard Fiscal Considerations termination language, as well as a provision for the County to terminate the Agreement without cause upon seven (7) calendar days written notice.
