DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On July 30 2024, during the Long Range Planning Work Plan discussion (File No. 24-1332) the Board directed staff to review the changes in Mobile Home Residency Law generally and Rent Stabilization Ordinances (RSO) more specifically. Staff has completed a review and there are no substantive changes to the analysis and conclusions of the March 14, 2018, Memo on Mobile Home Park Space Rent Stabilization (White Paper) from this review. Please see the attached staff memo (Attachment A) for updates as well as a copy of the March 14, 2018 memo (Attachment B).
