DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION
Community Development Agency, Transportation Division (Transportation), recommending the Board approve and authorize the Chair to sign retroactive State of California Standard Agreement CTA 16 007 (Agreement) and Contractor Certification CCC-307 with the California Tahoe Conservancy (CTC) for the term July 1, 2016, through June 30, 2017, to allow $1,408 to be allocated to Transportation's erosion control projects in the South Lake Tahoe region.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Pursuant to Government Code Section 66908.3, the CTC is authorized to lease acquired lands. When such lands are within El Dorado County (County) and are leased to private individuals or groups, the CTC must transfer twenty-five percent of the gross income of the leases to the County each year. Pursuant to the Budget Act of 2016, Chapter 23/16, the California State Legislature has appropriated $1,408 to the CTC for transfer to the County as private lease revenue for this fiscal year. At least fifty percent of this amount is to be used for erosion control projects in the South Lake Tahoe region, as defined in Section 66905.5 of the Government Code. Transportation will allocate the entire $1,408 to erosion control projects.

The Agreement requires that the County sign Contractor Certification CCC-307 regarding non-discrimination, drug-free workplace requirements, and other provisions for which certification is required when doing business with the State of California. The Coun...
