Background:
The Department of Transportation and Quincy Engineering are working to advance the construction of Phase 2B of the US Hwy. 50/El Dorado Hills Boulevard-Latrobe Road Interchange Project (Project). The Project will construct the final configuration for the westbound loop off ramp and the westbound on ramp. The Project is subject to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and on February 28, 2012, the Board of Supervisors adopted Addendum No. 3 to the Environmental Impact Report (EIR), to modify Phase 2B.
Reason for Recommendation:
The research of all potentially affected parcels and the acquisitions of portions of subject parcels needed necessary from the subject property owners to enable the construction of the Project improvements. In order for the Departments' consultant, Quincy Engineering, and its' sub-consultants to prepare for negotiations with said owners, the Department is requesting authorization from the Board to proceed with the acquisition process, including ordering and payment of title reports and certified appraisals of the ...
