DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
In previous years, each department presented a brief overview to the Board. The presentations will be provided again this year during the Regular Meetings on January 28, 2025, and February 4, 2025, and during a Special Board Meeting on February 5, 2025.
The purpose of the briefings is to offer a high-level overview of each department. This includes information on the total budget, net county cost, funding sources, number of full-time equivalent (FTE) employees, services provided, program metrics, strategic plan role, as well as any upcoming policy issues. These presentations are not meant to be discussions on budget needs or requests.
