Title
Planning and Building Department, Planning Division and Tahoe Planning and Building Division, recommending the Board receive and file a presentation on both Divisions' major accomplishments in Fiscal Year 2024/2025 and key priorities for Fiscal Year 2025/2026, and if needed, provide direction to staff.

Body
DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On February 24, 2015 (Legistar file 13-0510), the Board endorsed the first Long Range Planning (LRP) matrix/work plan that set priorities for County-initiated projects. Subsequent LRP work plans were presented to the Board on an annual basis since then. This year, Planning Division staff decided to take a broader approach and to include other Units’ work, not just LRP’s.
The purpose of this item is to solicit Board input and feedback to staff to accomplish upcoming key priorities for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/2026. This item also replaces the historic LRP matrix/work plan. No formal action will be taken as part of this item.
The attached Staff Memo (Attachment A) includes all Divisions’ major accomplishments in FY 2024/2025 and key upcoming priorities in FY 2025/2026.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board could choose not to receive the presentation and discuss the major accomplishments and key priorities of the Planning Division and Tahoe Planning and Building Division.
