DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On May 19, 2026, the Board approved Legistar file 26-0746 authorizing the adoption of the PRISM Joint Powers Authority (JPA) agreement and Coverage MOUs. The attached Pollution Liability Insurance Program MOU was inadvertently left off the aforementioned Board item. As such, this item is requesting approval of the Pollution MOU only, no other changes to the JPA agreement or MOU’s are being requested at this time.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board could choose not to approve this MOU; however, doing so would not allow the County to renew the Pollution Coverage through the JPA.
