DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On July 24, 2024, at the request of the Department of Transportation (Transportation), the Procurement and Contracts Division of the Chief Administrative Office issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) #24-0070 for environmental planning services for Shingle Springs El Dorado Trail Class I Improvements Project (Project). The Project is located from Shingle Springs Drive to South Shingle Road in the community of Shingle Springs. It will construct a Class I muliti-use trail and associated grading, drainage, and delineation improvements. The Project intends to select an alignment that will minimize environmental impacts as required for Transportation. Transportation received five (5) proposals.
