Surveyor's Office recommending the Board:
1) Acknowledge and consent to the making of an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication For Road Right Of Way, Landscape and Public Service Easements, on Assessor’s Parcel number 119-100-21; and
2) Authorize the Chair to sign the Consent to Offer Of Dedication and to record the Irrevocable Offer of Dedication with the Consent attached. Authorization for recording said Offer is pursuant to Government Code Section 7050.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Surveyor's Office received an application from the Bass Lake Properties LLC, A California Limited Liability Company, for an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication (IOD) of a Road Right Of Way, including the underlying fee, a Landscape Easement and a Public Service Easement on Assessor’s Parcel Number 119-100-21. All easements are more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted on Exhibit “B” of the attached Exhibits. The dedications are necessary for the improvements to Bass Lake Road in support of the Bass Lake Specific Plan.
This offer shall remain in effect and run with the land until such time as the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors makes a finding of necessity for public purposes and accepts said offer by resolution.
ALTERNATIVES
An alternative would be to not accept these Offers of Dedication. By utilizing this alternative, the County and/or developers would be unable to meet improvement obligations of the Bass Lake Specific Plan.
OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
Transportation Department has reviewed said IOD and supports the consent to the making of this offer, subject to the condition that said Road Right Of Way, Landscape and Public Service Easements will not be County maintained unless and until they have been accepted into the County maintained road system by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors.

It is recommended that the Board approve this item.
