Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: No change. The Agreement is funded by the Social Services allocation with required County match met primarily with realignment resources. Funds are budgeted for FY 10-11 and will be budgeted for FY 11-12.

Compensation: Payments to service provider are made quarterly in arrears and within thirty (30) days following receipt and approval of itemized invoices identifying services rendered. Compensation is based upon a State-approved cost methodology for actual emergency shelter placement services performed. Services and rates are defined on Exhibits A and B to the Agreement.

Termination: This non-standard agreement developed by Placer County includes a provision for either party to terminate without cause with seven (7) days written notice. (Article 13 C in the subject Agreement) or upon five (5) days written notice if service provider fails to comply with the terms of the Agreement or fails to provide services required.

Retroactive Term: This Agreement was signed by the service provider on June 16, 2010 and received by the DHS June 23, 2010, at which time the Department immediately scheduled this item for the next available Board date.
