DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

A vacancy will be created on March 1, 2023, for the Director of Library Services. An open, competitive recruitment for a permanent Director is being conducted and the selection process is progressing.  Until the position is filled on a permanent basis, the department will need someone in the role to oversee day-to-day operations. Ms. Amos meets the minimum qualifications and is agreeable to stepping back into this leadership position on an interim basis.
