Funding for this project is included in the Courts ADR Special Revenue Funds.
Background: The Cameron Park Courthouse ADR Modular Building - Building Package project consists of the manufacturing off-site, in a plant, together with the installation, on-site, of a 48 foot by 40 foot modular building.
Reason for Recommendation: On April 1, 2008, agenda item #46 (08-0464) the Board authorized General Services to re-bid the project. The bids were opened May 7, 2008, with four bidders (see attached bidder list). Global Modular, Inc. was the lowest qualified and responsive bidder whose bid amount was $296,138.00.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Board to approve award of project to Global Modular, Inc. and Chairman to execute said Agreement, pending approval from County Counsel and Risk Managment. Upon execution of Agreement General Services will complete the administrative processing of the contract.
