DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A request has been submitted by Meruzhan Keidjian and Julia Oleinikova, Husband and Wife, owners of Assessor's Parcel Number 034-441-001, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate a portion of the Public Utility easement and setback located on said property. The easement and setback are more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached Resolution.

The Public Utility easement and setback, as shown on Lot 349 of Tahoe Paradise Unit NO. 20, recorded in Book C of Subdivisions at Page 46, were offered to the County of El Dorado by Tahoe Paradise Homes, a corporation by Jim A. E. Wilson, on May 12, 1960. The easement and setback were acknowledged by the County of El Dorado on June 13, 1960, and the Subdivision Map was recorded on June 13, 1960.

The Planning Department, AT&T, Southwest Gas Corporation, South Tahoe Public Utility District, Liberty Utilities, have not used said portions of said subject easement or setback for the purposes for which they were dedicated and find no present or future need exists for said portions of said subject easement or setback and do not object to their vacation, and to that end, have all issued letters to that effect.
