DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION
Health and Human Services Agency, Community Services Division, recommending the Board adopt the attached Resolution to establish an imprest cash account for the Elderly Nutrition Program Congregate Meal Service in Cameron Park in the amount of $50 for use as a change fund for client donations.
DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On September 15, 2015, the Board approved and authorized a congregate meal program located at the Cameron Park Community Services District. The Senior Nutrition Program will be providing meals, two days a week, to those eligible seniors in a group setting, beginning in November 2015.
The Elderly Nutrition Program Congregate Meal Service needs the ability to accept donations via currency and to provide change (in currency), if requested.
ALTERNATIVES
Disapproval of this Resolution will inhibit the Senior Nutrition Program volunteers’ ability to accept donations for the Elderly Nutrition Program Congregate Meal Service.

It is recommended that the Board approve this item.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no Net County Cost increase. Community Service Division savings will be used to start the account.

1. Clerk of the Board to obtain signature of Chair on the attached Elderly Nutrition Program Congregate Meal Service Imprest Cash Account Resolution.
2. Clerk of the Board to forward one fully executed Resolution to the Auditor-Controller Office.
3. Clerk of the Board to forward one Certified Minute Order, and one Certified copy of the Resolution to the Health and Human Services Agency.
