DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Department of Transportation (Transportation) will be presenting to the Commission upcoming parks projects within Transportation’s Capital Improvement Program. The projects included in the presentation are the El Dorado Trail Extension project in Shingle Springs and Camino, the Henningsen/ Lotus Road Class I Trail, and the Diamond Springs Pedestrian Facility Improvements Project. Also, included in the presentation will be an update on the Diamond Springs Parkway Phase 1B and Missouri Flat Road Pedestrian Overcrossing Projects. Transportation will be providing details of these projects that include their current phases and status, budgets, details of improvements, and funding needs. Transportation staff will answer questions and receive comments and feedback for moving forward with project designs.
