Background: Periodically the Board of Supervisors asks the Director of Information Technologies to conduct a workshop on trends and directions of technology and applications. The workshop was scheduled for February 13, 2007 as result of the Board of Supervisors meeting of January 9,2007 item # 51.
Reason for Recommendation: At its January 30 meting, the Board rescheduled its discussion on the County's Capital Improvement Program to the February 13 meeting. Consequently, the technology workshop needs to be rescheduled for the afternoon of Tuesday, February 27. During the workshop, the Director of Information Technologies will present for Board consideration an updated IT Strategic Plan.
Action to be taken following Board Approval: Hold IT workshop on Tuesday, February 27, 2007.
