DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION
1) Approve the Introduction (First Reading) of Title 5 - County Business License Ordinance of the El Dorado County Ordinance Code, Chapter 5.04 - General Provisions.
2) Waive full reading of the Ordinance, read by title only and continue this matter to March 13, 2018, for Final Passage (Second Reading).
DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
At their meeting of March 6, 2018 (Item 27), the Board approved Ordinance 5080 and set for Final Passage (Second Reading) on March 13, 2018. On January 23, 2018 (Item 10, File 17-1122), in accordance with Board Policy A-3 - Ordinances - New or Amended, the Board conceptually approved the amendments to Title 5 - County Business License Ordinance of the El Dorado County Ordinance Code, Chapter 5.04 - General Provisions (known as the "County Business License Ordinance"). The approved amendments are administrative in nature including an update to County department names, remove references to carbon copy forms, require e-mail and website addresses, and correct the Auditor/Controller's title.
