Chief Administrative Office, Procurement and Contracts Division, recommending the Board consider the following:
(1) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to extend two blanket purchase orders for one (1) additional twelve (12) month award period to expire on December 4, 2014 for the purchase of diesel fuel to the low qualified bidders, Hunt & Sons, Inc. of Placerville, CA and Flyers Energy LLC, of South Lake Tahoe, CA; and
(2) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to increase the blanket purchase order to same on an "as needed" basis during the awarded period as long as funding is available within the requesting department's budget.
FUNDING: Road Fund Discretionary and the General Fund for all diesel generator tanks.

FISCAL IMPACT/CHANGE TO NET COUNTY COST: Procurement and Contracts has been advised that funding is available within the Comunity Devleopment Agency, Transportation Division and Chief Administrative Office, Facilities Division budgets. (Road Fund Discretionary and the General Fund for all diesel generator tanks)
REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION: At the request of the Community Development Agency, Transportation Divion, the Procurement and Contracts division issued Invitation to Bid 13-405-023 for Diesel Fuel and Fuel Additive for various locations throughout the East & West slope of El Dorado County for use in vehicles, equipment and generator fuel tanks. On December 4, 2012 item #06, the Board of Supervisors awarded bid #13-405-023 to the low qualified bidders Hunt & Sons, Inc. of Placerville, CA and Flyers Energy LLC, of South Lake Tahoe, CA in the amount of 730,000 for a twelve (12) month award period expiring on December 4, 2013.
