Supervisor Briggs recommending Board approve a change to the 2013 Meeting Calendar to include a Special Meeting of the Board on Monday, September 30, 2013, to consolidate the Board's discussion on the different Land Use policy issues that have been presented to the Board and are in different stages of review and consideration, to include: Community Region Boundary Lines; Project Notification Requirements; the proposed General Plan Amendment - Initiation Process; and other land use issues the Board deems appropriate.

The Board of Supervisors has discussed numerous Land Use policy proposals within the last year and is scheduled to receive updates and recommendations from County staff on these proposals. In an effort to consolidate the Board's discussion on these interrelated policy considerations, Supervisor Briggs recommends that a Special Meeting of the Board be scheduled on September 30, 2013, to allow for Board discussion specifically on Land Use policy issues, to include: Community Region Boundary Lines; Project Notification Requirements; the proposed General Plan Amendment - Initiation Process; and other land use issues the Board deems appropriate.
