DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A Notice of Vacancy for the Behavioral Health Commission was posted on October 7, 2025, in accordance with County procedures for public board and commission appointments. The posting period allowed interested individuals to submit applications for consideration. Following this open recruitment, the Behavioral Health Commission convened on May 20, 2026 and voted to recommend the reappointment of James Abram as a Commission Member. James Abram’s commitment to the Behavioral Health Commission along with his qualifications and background were deemed a strong fit for the responsibilities of the Commission. No other applications were received during the posting period. This recommendation is now being brought forward for formal consideration and approval by the Board of Supervisors.
