Background: In an effort to better reflect the direction of the Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) while maintaining the vital economic development responsibilities, and recognizing the need to engage all county communities in the tasked worked, the committee members unanimously voted at the February 21, 2013 meeting to recommend the Board of Supervisors change the committee name to Community and Economic Development Advisory Committee (CEDAC).
