DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Surveyor's Office recommending the Board adopt a Resolution of Vacation for Abandonment of Easement (AOE) 18-015 to abandon an easement for Public Utilities, Drainage and Sewer on Lots 1274 and 1275 of "Auburn Lake Trails Unit 5", recorded at Book E of Subdivisions at Page 85, identified as Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 073-371-30. Said easement is more particularly described in Exhibit A, and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached Resolution. Abandonment was requested by the owners, Jared Jacques and Danielle Jacques.

An easement for Public Utilities, Drainage and Sewer was offered to the County of El Dorado by, Trans-Land Co. A Co~Partnership, on February 25, 1971. The easement was acknowledged and accepted by the County of El Dorado on March 16, 1971 and the Subdivision Map recorded on March 18, 1971.

ALTERNATIVES
An alternative would be to not adopt a Resolution of Vacation for Abandonment of Easement 18-015. By utilizing this alternative, the owner of Assessor's Parcel 073-371-30, would be unable to purse any development that would impact this easement.

OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
AT&T, Comcast, El Dorado Irrigation District and Pacific Gas & Electric have not used said easement for the purpose for which it was dedicated and find no present or future need exists for subject easement and do not object to its vacation, and to that end, have all issued letters to that effect.
