DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Chief Administrative Office, Parks Division, recommending the Commission appoint a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson for 2020-21, effective March 2020. Per El Dorado County Ordinance Article X Section 2.20.690, the Parks and Recreation Commission shall elect a Chair and Vice Chair at the first meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting held after March 1 each calendar year. This item was originally scheduled for the March 19, 2020 meeting. However, the March, April, and May meetings were cancelled due to COVID-19. Appointees shall hold office for a term of one year and until the election of their successors.
