DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A request has been submitted by Andrew Donald McLintock and Troy Brundage McLintock, trustees of the Andrew Donald McLintock and Troy Brundage McLintock Revocable Trust dated April 30, 2020, owners of Assessor's Parcel Number 082-374-010, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate portions of public utility easements located on said property. Subject easements are more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached Resolution. Said property is within the community of Cameron Park, Supervisorial District 2.

The public utility easements, as shown on Lot 1367 of Cameron Park North Unit No. 3, recorded in Book D of Subdivisions at Page 13, were offered to the County of El Dorado by Bankers Title Guarantee Company, a California Corporation and Cameron El Dorado Company, a California Corporation, on May 15, 1963. The easements were acknowledged and accepted by the County of El Dorado on October 14, 1963, and the Subdivision Map was recorded on October 15, 1963.

ALTERNATIVES
An alternative would be to not adopt the Resolution of Vacation for Abandonment of Easement 21-0002. By utilizing this alternative, the owners of Assessor's Parcels 082-374-010 would be unable to pursue any development that would impact the subject easements.
