DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On October 1, 2025, the Clerk of the Board posted a Notice of Vacancy. On November 4, 2025, the Clerk of the Board received formal notification from staff representing the El Dorado County Early Care and Education Planning Council. The notification stated that, following a review and approval process, the Council voted to recommend the appointment of Colleen Robinson to serve as a Community-Agency Representative. This recommendation reflects the Council’s commitment to ensuring broad and diverse representation from community-based organizations involved in early care and education. Colleen Robinson’s appointment is intended to support the Council’s mission of promoting high-quality, accessible early childhood programs throughout El Dorado County.
