Background: The State Political Reform Act requires all public agencies to maintain a conflict of interest code, and to update the code every two years as necessary. At a regular meeting of the El Dorado Water & Power Authority held on April 11, 2007, the Board adopted Resolution EDWPA-1-2007, thereby updating the conflict of interest code to reflect current conflict of interest regulations.
In accordance with Government Code, the El Dorado Water & Power Authority directed the newly revised code be submitted to the El Dorado County board of supervisors for approval, revision, or for return for further revisions. Attached is a copy of the newly revised and updated Conflict of Interest Code and implementing Resolution.
