The Commission on Aging will discuss the Commission representation on the Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) Coordinating Committee. The Area Agency on Aging (AAA), Performance Service Area (PSA) 4, is the lead agency for HICAP with an executed memorandum of understanding (MOU) with El Dorado County and San Joaquin County to establish oversight of the program. This MOU created a HICAP Coordinating Committee which, in addition to PSA staffl, shall include at least one AAA Advisory Council member from each participating PSA.
