Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost
No fiscal impact or change to Net County Cost. Amendment does not change maximum obligation of the Agreement.
Reason for Recommendation
According to the Agreement, MGI will endeavor to provide investigation results to the County within 20 to 30 calendar days. The Agreement allows an expedited schedule to be agreed upon by both parties, but does not provide for compensation for expedited processing.
Expedited processing was requested and received by the County for the Chief Probation Officer recruitment process. The County has received an invoice from MGI, including a fee for rushed processing of the invesigation. This Amendment specifies rates for expedited processing and authorizes the County to pay MGI's rush processing fee for the expedited service.
Clerk of the Board Follow Up Actions
The Board Chair shall sign two copies of Amendment V to Agreement No. 125-S1210.
The Clerk of the Board shall return one fully executed agreement to the Chief Administrative Office.
