Reason for Recommendation
Board of Supervisors Policy A-11 requires the Chief Administrative Officer to report to the Board of Supervisors regarding the status of any pending items related to published Grand Jury reports. The last status report was provided to the Board on July 27, 2010 which reflected progress made on recommendations as of June 30, 2010. The attached status report reflects progress on outstanding Grand Jury recommendations as of October 1, 2012. Staff notes that the Board of Supervisors response to the 2009-10 Grand Jury report did not utilize the the penal code format and no specific recommendations were agreed to.
Attachment A is the status report which includes the outstanding recommendations and all subsequent responses. Attachment B is a summary of the recommendations.
