Body

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

The Elections Department needs an additional eight (8) Mobile Ballot Printing systems to support the heavy turnout expected for the November 3, 2020 Presidential General Election. These units are used to print ballots on demand for voters and will be used to supplement existing units to provide for higher capacity printing at vote centers. This will increase the total amount of the contract by $55,000 to $918,333.

ALTERNATIVES

The Elections department can continue with the current number of units but it may cause delays in issuing ballots to voters.
