DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The El Dorado County Library Commission advises the Board of Supervisors on matters pertaining to improvement of the County free library services and rules and regulations governing operation of the County library system. The Commission makes recommendations to the Board for future development and maintenance regarding library services and encourages support of the free library service by private individuals and groups and by other public agencies. The Commission reviews the annual budget and proposed expenditures.
