DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A request has been submitted by Shane Muntean, an unmarried man and Louie Demeo, an unmarried man as joint tenants, owners of Assessor's Parcel Number 085-084-007, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate the Irrigation Ditch Easement located on said property. The easement is more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted on Exhibit B of the attached Resolution.

The Irrigation Ditch Easement, as shown on Lot 7 of Swansboro Country, Unit No. 2, recorded in Book E of Subdivisions at Page 43, was offered to the County of El Dorado by W. & D. Investment Company Incorporated, a California Corporation By Richard H. Dyer, on September 15, 1969. The easement was acknowledged and accepted by the County of El Dorado on September 30, 1969, and the Subdivision Map was recorded on October 6, 1969.

OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT
El Dorado Irrigation District has not used said subject easement for the purposes for which it was dedicated and find no present or future need exists for said subject easement and does not object to its vacation, and to that end, has issued a letter to that effect.

Approve as recommended.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
The Surveyor’s Office collects a fee for processing the Abandonment of Easement on a time and materials basis. There is no fiscal impact as a result of the approval of this item.
