Since 1986, when five county employees began this singing tradition, the county choir has grown to more than 60, at one point, and they share the joy of the holidays through cheerful harmony.
Directed by Kathie Martin from County Counsel, the County Christmas Singers is made up entirely of county employees who give up their lunch hours to practice and who look forward every year to performing before the board of supervisors and at designated locations throughout county government in Placerville.
