District Attorney recommending the Board approve and authorize the Chair to execute Amendment II to Agreement 5316 with H.O.P.E.: Healthy Outcomes for Personal Enrichment Counseling Center to extend the term from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023 and increase the not to exceed by $160,440 for the new term, making the new NTE $329,880.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On November 10, 2020, the Board approved the District Attorney’s acceptance of the CalOES Child Abuse Treatment (AT) Program in the amount of $321,875 for grant period January 1, 2021 - December 31, 2021. The $321,875 award amount includes a $64,375 cash match requirement. This is the District Attorney’s first award under this grant Program. The purpose of the AT Program is to provide comprehensive psychotherapy services to children victimized by abuse and/or neglect. This grant funds Agreement 5316 with HOPE Counseling to provide services to child victims of crime.
On December 15, 2020, the Board of Supervisors approved Agreement 5316 to provide one full-time equivalent Psychotherapy Clinician(s) to work specifically with child abuse victims and their families (secondary victims) by providing trauma-informed mental health services. Agreement 5316 originally allocated $3,000.00 for grant program related training and travel costs.
On June 22, 2021, the Board of Supervisors approved Amendment I to Agreement 5316 to provide an additional $9,000 in training funds for the HOPE Counselors to attend Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to increase services offerings to child victims and families served under this grant.
On June 29, 2021, the Board approved the District Attorney's acceptance of the CalOES Child Abuse Treatment (AT) Program for the period of January 1, 2022 - December 31, 2022. The agreement term will be extended to January 1, 2021 - June 30, 2023. C...
