Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: The not-to-exceed amount of this Agreement is $99,800. There is no Net County Cost associated with this Agreement.

Compensation for Services: Payments are made to Contractor based upon monthly invoicing at specified billing rates for actual services performed and documented per contract requirements. Services and rates are detailed on pages 2 and 3 of the contract.

Contract Termination: This Agreement includes the County’s standard Fiscal Considerations termination language, as well as a provision for the County to terminate Agreement without cause in seven (7) calendar days upon written notice.

Reason for Recommendation: One of the programs identified in the County’s approved MHSA Community Services and Support (CSS) Plan is an employment assistance program for severely mentally ill adults, the goal of which is to enhance self-sufficiency and promote self-reliance in participants through finding and maintaining employment. The population that suffers from mental illness is among the most challenging groups of disabled individuals in relationship to the employment process. Therefore, specialized services such as those provided by this contractor are critical to the success of this effort.
