See Policy 7.1: Implement a cooperative sign reduction and consolidation program with Caltrans for signs located within the US 50 and SR 89 rights-of-way. Remove, reduce and consolidate highway informational and directional signage wherever possible. Policy 7.2: Participate in the south shore’s Art in Public Places program. Encourage placement of public art within the Area Plan.
