DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Registrar of Voters is the Election Official for local jurisdictions within the county. The Elections Department can handle the consolidation of the jurisdictions' contest on the Presidential General Election ballot.
Elections Code Sections 10400 et seq. provides for the consolidation of local jurisdiction elections with the Presidential General Election to be conducted by the El Dorado County Registrar of Voters on November 5, 2024. The Election Department has received resolutions requesting consolidation with the November 5, 2024 election from all districts.
ALTERNATIVES
Board can choose not to consolidate. Elections Department would be required to conduct individual elections for each district.

Auditor - all District funds received for conducting the election will be deposited with the Auditor.
