DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
A vacancy was created by the April 19, 2022, resignation of Health and Human Services Agency Director Don Semon. An open, competitive recruitment for a permanent Director will be conducted, but in the meantime the department will need someone in the role to oversee day-to-day operations. Mr. Del Monte meets the minimum qualifications and is agreeable to stepping into the leadership position on an interim basis.
