DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The El Dorado Hills Community Services District (CSD) has expressed interest in purchasing the Moni Gilmore Senior Center, located at 990 Lassen Lane in El Dorado Hills. The intention is to maintain the same level, if not greater, of senior services currently being offered at this location. With the consolidation of senior day care services now located in Placerville, the CSD now occupies the majority of this building and provides a multitude of senior services to the community. The CSD currently has a lease agreement with the County set to expire in June of 2026.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board could decline to enter into negotiations with the CSD and the existing lease agreement would be re-negotiated and brought back to the Board for consideration before June of 2026.
