Pursuant to AB 1542, the Early Care and Education Planning Council receives approval from the County Office of Education, Dr Vicki Barber, and the Board of Supervisors for all appointments. Applications are reviewed by the council's executive committee, then approved by the council members and Dr. Barber before board of supervisors ratification.
