Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost
There is no fiscal impact related to this action; however, changes in the County Maintained Mileage System will impact the Transportation Division's future maintenance budgets.
 
Reason for Recommendation   
Updates to the County Maintained Mileage System and the Board Resolution adopting those updates are submitted by the Transportation Division to the State of California each year, pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code, Section 941 and Section 2121.  In 2013, minor revisions were made to three (3) roads based on field and office review of actual road parameters as detailed in Attachment A of the Resolution.
 
Action(s) to be taken following Board approval
1) Update the County of El Dorado Maintained Mileage System records.
2) Submit the Board adopted Resolution to Caltrans for Mileage Certification and Map Revisions.
 
Clerk of the Board Follow-up Action
Clerk to obtain the Chair's signature on the Resolution and forward to the Transportation Division for further processing.
