Chief Administrative Office recommending the Board:
1) Extend the Sunset Review Dates of Board Policies A-5, Grant Endorsements for Non-County Agencies, and C-18, Non-Financial Agreements, to February 3, 2030; and
2) Repeal Board Policy F-2, Animal Shelter Private Donor Recognition Policy, as the policy is no longer needed, and donation acceptance will adhere to the newly revised Board Policy A-6, Grants, Allocations, and Donations.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The Sunset Review Date of Board Policy A-5, Grant Endorsements for Non-County Agencies is January 25, 2026. Staff have reviewed the Policy and have determined that no changes are recommended at this time. The Board is being asked to extend the review date to February 3, 2030, with minor formatting changes.
The Sunset Review Date of Board Policy C-18, Non-Financial Agreements is January 25, 2026. Staff have reviewed the Policy and have determined that no changes are recommended at this time. The Board is being asked to extend the review date to February 3, 2030, with minor formatting changes.
The Sunset Review Date of Board Policy F-2, Animal Shelter Private Donor Recognition Policy was January 3, 2026. Policy F-2 was adopted by the Board on October 1, 2013, to encourage donations and public support of the West Slope Animal Shelter during its development. The Health and Human Services Agency and Chief Administrative Office are recommending that Policy F-2 be repealed as donations are covered under Board Policy A-6, Grants, Allocations, and Donations, and building naming is covered under Board Policy F-1, Naming and Renaming of Couty-owned Buildings.
ALTERNATIVES
The Board could decide not to extend the Sunset Review Dates or repeal Board Policy F-2.
