DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
The introduction to Ms. Rie Ito, President of the El Dorado County Sister City organization in Warabi, Japan, will offer an opportunity for the Board to become acquainted with her leadership role and longstanding commitment to strengthening international partnerships. Ms. Ito has been actively involved in advancing cultural understanding and educational exchange between El Dorado County and Warabi, helping to facilitate programs, student exchanges, and community engagement efforts that highlight the shared values and collaborative spirit of the Sister City relationship. Her participation in this meeting underscores the continued importance of cross cultural dialogue and the positive impact of these international connections.
In addition to the introduction, a presentation will be provided by the El Dorado County Charter of People to People International.
