Department of Transportation, Maintenance and Operations Division, recommending the Board:
1) Decrease the cost of two (2) sander attachments on the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Fixed Asset List from $100,000 to $90,000 each;
2) Increase the cost of two (2) plow attachments on the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Fixed Asset List from $25,000 to $35,000 each;
3) Decrease the cost of three (3) upfits on the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Fixed Asset List from $125,000 to $116,000;
4) Increase the cost of three (3) plows for 10-wheelers and bobtails on the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Fixed Asset List from $25,000 to $34,000 each;
5) Find the purchase of five (5) plows and two (2) sander attachments are exempt from competitive bidding in accordance with County Procurement Policy C-17 Section 3.4.4 due to the use of a competitively bid contract for the purchase;
6) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to utilize the Sourcewell competitively-bid Contract 062222-AGI for the acquisition of five (5) plows and two (2) sander attachments; and
7) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to sign a purchase order to the awarded Sourcewell vendor, Enoven Truck Body and Equipment of West Sacramento, CA in the amount of $221,259 plus applicable delivery, taxes, and fees (estimated at $44,998.79) for a one-time purchase of five (5) plows and two (2) sander attachments.
FUNDING: Road Fund (39%) and General Fund (61%).

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Department of Transportation (Transportation) is requesting authorization to increase the budget price for two (2) plow attachments originally budgeted at $25,000 by $10,000 for a new total of $35,000 each and decreasing the budget price for two (2) sander attachments originally budgeted at $100,000 by $10,000 for a new total of $90,000.
