Reason for Recommendation:
The Transportation Department (Department) is preparing to go out to bid for the Apalachee Phase 3B Erosion Control Project this spring.
The Department plans to conduct surveys, regrade and revegetate a slope, restore an access road, construct infiltration galleries, rock-lined channels and grass-lined swales on twelve (12) parcels owned by the California Tahoe Conservancy (CTC), APN #s 033-682-22, 033-682-23, 033-873-22, 033-873-26, 033-873-31, 033-873-32, 033-884-12, 033-884-13, 080-071-25, 080-071-26, 080-103-02 and 080-103-03.
Figure CTC-1 describes APN #s 033-682-22 and 033-682-23; Figure CTC-2 describes APN #s 080-103-02 and 080-103-03; Figure CTC-3 describes APN # 033-873-22; Figure CTC-4 describes APN # 033-873-26; Figure CTC-5 describes APN #s 033-873-31 and 033-873-32; Figure CTC-6 describes APN #s 080-071-25 and 080-071-26; and, Figure CTC-7 describes APN #s 033-884-12 and 033-884-13.
The CTC has prepared one (1) License Agreement to grant the County permission to access the CTC-owned parcels.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
