Compensation for Services
Payments will be made to Contractor based upon monthly invoicing at specified billing rates for actual services performed and documented per contract requirements.
Termination
Agreement includes the County's standard Fiscal Considerations termination language, as well as a provision for the County to terminate Agreement without cause in seven (7) calendar days upon written notice.
Retroactive Term
The Agreement's term is July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. The development and processing of the Agreement required verification of MHSA funding availability resulting in a delay to the execution of the Agreement.
Background
On September 28, 2010, the Board approved the Fiscal Year 2010-11 Mental Health Services Act ("MHSA") Community Services and Supports, Prevention and Early Intervention ("PEI"), and Workforce Education and Training Plan Updates (Agenda Number 5, File ID 10-0963). The PEI portion of the Board-approved MHSA Plan specifically calls for the Foothill Indian Education Alliance (serving as the fiscal agent) to initiate and provide Wennem Wadati-A Native Path to Healing ("Wennem Wadati") program service...
