DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
On August 13, 2019, the Board requested Department of Transportation analyze the Fleet process to ensure the utilization of vehicles in the current fleet are the most cost effective and the right sized vehicles for their use and need. The presentation will cover the County Fleet vehicle inventory status, overview of Policy D-4, review of the procurement and market changes in vehicles, review of the current methodology for vehicle replacement, and a review the approval process.
